 Research Programs

Dedicated to bioengineering and nanotechnology the AIBN focuses its research efforts into four major programs:

  • Nanomaterials;
  • Cell and Tissue Engineering;
  • Systems Biotechnology;
  • Nanobiotechnology.

    AIBN also has several Challenge Projects: ambitious long-term research endeavours focused on delivering practical research outcomes and promoting interdisciplinary research.

    These projects are instrumental in establishing the AIBN’s research reputation and include a competitive edge unique to the Institute. They involve more than one group and will lead to high quality research outcomes and visibility from a commercial viewpoint.
